KGM announced the name of its new SUV on the 15th. Previously known as the J120 project, the Actyon was unveiled through the commencement of its pre-orders.

KGM has kicked off the promotion of its newest vehicle by opening pre-orders and revealing its exterior features. The Actyon's official release is scheduled for August.

The name "Actyon" continues the legacy of KGM; the first generation Actyon pioneered the SUC (Sports Utility Coupe) concept globally in 2005, gathering popularity in the market through its spirit of innovation. According to company officials, the name "Actyon" symbolizes the authenticity of the KGM brand as an SUV specialist with a 70-year history in the market, and the start of a new challenge towards future mobility.

The naming of the first generation Actyon was based on the combination of the words "action" and "young", symbolizing passion and pioneering spirit and expressing a dynamic image that surpasses the limits of an ordinary SUV. The new Actyon builds upon this foundation, adding the new meanings "Act+Young" and "Act+On" to the existing name and signifying KGM's strong intentions for a new beginning through "fast action and initiation".

The exterior design of the Actyon incorporates a beautiful and stylish coupe-style silhouette and urban, sporty design elements with the classic robust design of an SUV. It embodies KGM's design philosophy "Powered by Toughness" and its various directions for enhancement.

The official pre-order of the Actyon in the domestic market has begun on the 15th of July, with exports scheduled to commence shipping in October and regular sales expected to start by the end of this year.
