SsangYong Motor Company (CEO Yoo-il Lee; www.kg-mobility.com/en) announced that the company will donate cars to support Government’s medical support project for developing countries.
The donation ceremony under the name of business support for health and medical education and medical technology was held at the main hall of Seoul National University Dental Hospital on November 7, 2014, joined by Sung-jun Hong, Managing Director of Vehicle Development Test Division, In-cheol Ryu, Director of SNU Dental hospital, Elizabeth Nicole, Ghana Ambassador to Korea, and other representatives.
This time, SsangYong donated Rexton and Actyon Sports, off-road specialized models, which will be used for medical support vehicles.
SsangYong Motor company constantly runs corporate social responsibility programs, such as book donation to local educational institution and scholarship association. Also, SsangYong recently began to sponsor ‘Nanhi Kali’ project, which offers educational opportunities to girls from low-income families in India to extend social program activities and contribute to enhance public interest.
