SsangYong Motors, (CEO Yoo-il Lee;www.kg-mobility.com/en), has convened the largest-ever overseas distributor conference ahead of the launch of new X100, a global strategic model of SsangYong.
The three-day gathering that kicked off last Wednesday (French time) on the sidelines of the Paris Motor Show, involved 130 distributors from 65 countries. Placing at Disney’s hotel New York, ‘2014 Global Distributor conference’ consisted of conference & motor show visit and sales meeting.
During the conference, overseas distributors shared SsangYong's corporate vision, mid- to long-term product strategies and marketing communication plans as well as exchange views on meeting this year's sales goals and prospects for 2015.
Distributors also had the chance to see by themselves how the X100 will eventually look like by checking out the XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure concepts displayed at the motor show. They expressed satisfaction with what they saw in the XIV-Air and XIV-Adventure that can set the stage for the X100.
Yoo-il Lee, CEO of SsangYong Motor Company commented that, “We put our all efforts for the success of our new global strategic model, X100.” “Starting with X100 2015, we are planning to introduce a new product every year and we will focus on improving product and after-service competitiveness in the world market to become a global leading SUV-specialized company.” He added.
