SsangYong Motors Benelux (http://www.ssangyong.be/), the official SsangYong distributor in Belgium, said that the first delivery of Rodius highway safety control cars was made to Aredonk on June 30, 2014. With more Rodius safety control cars will on the road soon, they’ll be used to cover Flanders, northern area of Belgium.

The new Rodius was selected by the private organization of safety companies appointed by the flemisch government thanks to its design and practicality. Compared to competitors, Rodius was more favorable evaluated over spacious cargo area, passenger car-like design, and last but not least, reliable 5-automatic transmission and diesel engine. Rodius will be used for operation work such as accident scene control, restoration and accident prevention to support a police force.

As this is the first time that the new Rodius is selected for the purpose of public sector, it is expected to contribute to increase brand awareness of SsangYong in Belgium.

Sales of SsangYong in Belgium has continued to grow this year with 40% sales increase year on year during the first quarter with the aggressive marketing and well-established dealer network.
