Ssangyong Motor to enhance its presence in European market at the Geneva Motor Show

▪ Ssangyong will unveil its brand new premium concept car 「XIV-2」 at the Geneva International Motor Show.
▪ Ssangyong plans to showcase seven vehicles, including the 「XIV-2」, 「Korando」 and「Korando Sports」 in a 420㎡ showroom.
▪ Ssangyong will bump up its efforts to expand sales in the European market through the motor show.

 

Ssangyong Motor(President & CEO Lee Yoo-il; www.kg-mobility.com) announced on 14 Feb. 2012, that the company will showcase its premium CUV concept car XIV-2 and make an all-out effort to enhance its performance in the European market, at the 82nd Geneva International Motor Show, which will be held in March, in Switzerland.

Ssangyong plans to showcase seven vehicles, including the XIV-2, Korando Sports, Korando and Rexton in a 420 square-meter showroom. Ssangyong plans to expand its presence in the European market through this event.

Ssangyong’s brand new concept car, the XIV-2 (eXciting user-Interface Vehicle) which will make its first debut at the motor show, is an advanced XIV-1 model, which was introduced in September 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The new model is a premium entry CUV concept model that Ssangyong will promote as a global strategic model with unique style and aerodynamic design.

In addition, Ssangyong plans to foster the marketing efforts through this event for the brand new Korando Sports along with the Korando , which has resulted in consistent sales growth in Europe.
