South Korean automakers said Monday that sales remained brisk in March at home and abroad despite
losses attributed to a stronger domestic currency.

Ssangyong Motor sold 11,654 units in March, up 7.5 percent from a year ago. Domestic sales gained 9.5
percent to 5,103 and exports rose six percent to 6,551.
