Ssangyong Motor Co. said Friday its sales increased 9.1 percent year-on-year to 11,069 units in September.

The automaker said its exports surged 95.1 percent to 3,979 units last month from a year ago, but domestic sales slid 12.5 percent to 7,090 units.
