Large sedans accounted for more than 20 percent of passenger car sales last year by South Korea's five automakers as consumers shied away from smaller vehicles, industry sources said Tuesday.

Domestic car sales by Hyundai Motor Co., Kia Motors Corp., GM Daewoo Auto & Technology Co., Ssangyong Moto Co. and Renault Samsung Moto Co. came to a combined 621,950 units last year.
